How We Do It
It's a Gas to Go to Class 2023-2024
Hosted by Victorville Motors, this community program rewards local high school students who achieve perfect attendance with the chance to win a car. The program culminates in the annual Celebration of Education, where thousands of eligible students and their families gather for a day filled with prizes, raffles, and the anticipation of who will be the lucky winner this year.
Inkspire documented the day’s event for social media, right as it happened—with posts, stories, and reels generating hundreds of likes and shares. From the line outside the door to the moment the grand prize winner revved their engine, Inkspire made sure to capture the unique energy of a beloved community event. The live coverage produced hundreds of photos, including the “shot of the day” of a car winner that was ultimately used for banners and other promotional materials.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved the power of a good story— and dreamed of creating my own. These dreams lead me to fall in love with the written word and to pursue a career as a writer. I’m proud to say I’ve been able to write for a living for more than 12 years now. I’ve worked as a local reporter, where I covered beats like crime, public safety, and city governance; and as a marketing content writer and digital strategist, where I created content for political candidates, small businesses, and large corporations. What resonates through it all is good storytelling—and in today’s digital age, social media is how to tell it.
